Este estudio se centra en los aspectos clave de las redes de carreteras y de la infraestructura<br \/>\n<\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Informe <i>Lynker\u00a0 \u201cPanam\u00e1. Una alternativa a Puerto Bar\u00fa: Puerto Armuelles\u201d, 6 de febrero de 2025, p. 2.<\/i><\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ochenta kil\u00f3metros dentro de una misma provincia no representan una distancia excluyente desde el punto de vista log\u00edstico o econ\u00f3mico que adem\u00e1s ofrece ventajas comparativas relevantes: cuenta con infraestructura existente, dispone de alto calado, tiene conexi\u00f3n directa a la carretera Panamericana y evita el impacto sobre manglares protegidos.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Frente a estos antecedentes, surge una pregunta leg\u00edtima:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b>\u00bfpor qu\u00e9 insistir en un segundo puerto que implica mayores costos ambientales cuando existe una alternativa ya avanzada y funcional?<\/b><\/p>\n<h2><b>Progreso con naturaleza, no a costa de ella<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Puerto Armuelles generar\u00e1 lo mismo que Puerto Bar\u00fa vende: empleo, inversi\u00f3n y progreso para Panam\u00e1, sin intervenir una zona protegida de manglar. A diferencia de Puerto Bar\u00fa, su desarrollo no depende de dragados extensivos ni de la alteraci\u00f3n de ecosistemas clave para la protecci\u00f3n costera y la biodiversidad de Chiriqu\u00ed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Panam\u00e1 necesita desarrollo. Chiriqu\u00ed necesita oportunidades.
