They are living walls against storms, oxygen factories, marine life nurseries and silent climate regulators. Their value is not measured in square metres, but in protection, food and stability for thousands of people. When a mangrove is destroyed, \u201cvegetation\u201d is not lost: a natural defence that money cannot replace is lost.
